has been a huge pleasure in recent years to observe the tremendous growth in
support for our concerts in Watford, in view of which we have decided that we
must continue to build on these foundations. For 2010-11 we are
delighted to announce a new collaboration with The Purcell School - a wonderful
series of chamber concerts, including artists familiar to you all from the
Colosseum concerts as well as a prominent role for Purcell School students.
We are continuing to share our work using the same principles as before - largely reliant on voluntary donations, which remain just as important as before in helping to create a sustainable and developing programme.
You can also help us create a greener and more streamlined operation by supporting internet operation: by booking tickets online and requesting email news so we can dispense with printed mailings. As an incentive, supersaver tickets will now only be available for internet bookings - and to encourage subscription they will no longer be available for single concerts.
The Constance Pilkington Hall has only 250 seats so do please book your tickets early and donate generously to avoid disappointment. I look forward to seeing you there.
